Riverbeds is located in the heart of Glencoe, A place full of myths, legends & history. So, it’s no surprise that we’ve got a few bits of history not so far away from the river.

Ballachulish House - The original estate house that dates back to 1640.
Ballachulish Slipway – for centuries, was home to the Ballachulish Ferry (the crossing at the narrows). Take a careful look – and see the fastest tidal run of water in Europe!
A monument marks the spot where James Stewart of Red Fox fame, was hung for 18 months in 1752
